Sv: KillieTalk Digest V3 #306

Tubifix.
Theese worms are having a high concentration of haemoglobin in them, which make them capable to live in polluted and oxygen-low water. That does not mean that they dont live in clean water too, but it is in their favour to live where only few other species can live.
Oxygen-low water does not necessarily means polluted water. It can be caused by decomposited spots in the water with lots of organic material.
So make sure why there are a big concentration of tubifix before you use them!

Martin.
