Worm
Folks,
I have just received several messages from various email filter systems to
the effect described in the message below:
Antigen for Exchange found Unknown infected with JS/Kak.Worm virus.
The file is currently Deleted. The message, "conv. room", was
sent from Tom Kean and was discovered in IMC Queues\Inbound
located at University of Missouri/Columbia/UMC-MAIL01.
My understanding is that this is a html script worm and I am not yet sure
how it got through our ban on attachments. I am in contact with the person
who hosts our list to look into that. I haven't yet had time to find out
anything about this virus/worm but will post some info on it. It apparently
came in Tom Kean's message aboutg a convention room. You all need to check
your systems to make sure you didn't get the worm. As soon as I find more
info I will post it.
Tom, apparently your system is infected. You need to run an up to date
virus checker.
