cyclopeeze

On the argent website, cyclopeeze is described as 'Biologically engineered'

I asked argent what they meant by this, and they did not bother to answer

If they mean that they are genetically modified, they should say so.... and
being given no answer certainly makes me think the worst

If anyone knows otherwise please let me know

Despite the fact that many of us (particularly in the US) eat gm food, its
dangers are becoming apparent all the time. The process of creating gm food
involves 'playing' with viruses, often genetically engineering them first.
This is one of the main reservations to gm in the UK. If cyclopeeze is a
genetically modified product, there is no guarentee that novel viruses will
not crop up in our aquariums, let alone elsewherein the food chain ( I
assume they feed this stuff to shrimps etc for us to eat).

If anyone here is 'in ' with argent, please can you put my mind at rest one
way or the other - after all I would love this stuff to be safe, so I can
hatch less BBS
                                                                cheers
