The reasons for that are historical. The oldest fish list on the net,
killies at mejac_palo-alto.ca.us, was getting way too much AKA business, so
Barry set up this list where AKA affairs were considered fair game (as well
as fishy stuff).
The folks on the older list appreciate a pretty-much fish-only list, and we
get a forum here to discuss AKA trivia that must really be a bore for those
not going to WCW or Convention. :-)
Many of us monitor both lists as they both do have interesting threads on
the fish.
[Not to denigrate any of the other 3 or 4 killy lists out there, of course.]
