Hi Tim

Never owned any A. elegans group probably never will. While looking through
some of my old books I found a book with a picture of the pool wre the
original populations of A.cognatum was caught " this pool in Zaire from
which thousands of A. cognatum were collected annually and exported by
Pierre Brichard all over the world." It also says it is a single pool close
to Kinshasa Zaire. I could scan it and send it if you want. There is not
much info.

The most disappointing thing about the list is the biggest threads are
usually political and not about the fish. Just my opinion. Where's Pug when
you need him.
