Killie Nutz! Updates

Hi folks,

Just dropping a note in to update you on the latest activities at Killie
Nutz! http://www.travelnutz.com/killienutz.htm

KILLIE NUTZ POLL: Over the past week, the Poll received 54 respondents who
were literally equally split over the question:

What is your opinion on the use of Sub-Genus names? The results: 31% of
you were 100% in support of the name changes and 31% were totally against
the same. 17% in both directions were less inclined to get in a major
dispute over the usage while a total of 4% simply did not care.

This week we have a new question for you: What level of hobbyist do you
consider yourself? The choices vary from Rank Beginner to Ichthyological
Professional.

I have been working on the Species Database and some segments of it are
online. Basically, I have a long listing of species broken up into the
different major groups from Africa, South America and North America. Every
list is fluid obviously and will be brought up-to-date as fast as I can
locate additional information. The long-range goal of this section is to
create a webpage for each species and provide some basic breeding and care
data along with a photo. It's a huge undertaking and I would appreciate any
assistance.

I do ask that you all bear with me as I get the basic data online. While
many lists are available to view, I have not completed all of the
references, credits and other information which will be contained in each
area. <smile> It takes time. But I also felt that getting the rough work in
place was of some value to everyone.

I want to thank everyone for the nice comments I have been receiving and I
hope I can live up to your hopes!

  Tom
