RE: Uses of fridges? & blackworms

Hi all

> Any others out there?

Brine shrimp adults and freshly hatched. For the adults it pays to have an
air pump to circulate the shrimp other wise they all lie on the bottom and
suffocate, which kills them quicker than the heat. Only tried it a couple of
times with freshly hatched same problem not as bad. My missus was not
impressed about an air pump in the fridge haven't tried it for a while.

I will probably need correcting on this one. I think once you have
decapsulated brine ship eggs you can store them in fridge for a day.

Get the big one more room for beer.

On to blackworms.

The last 2 times I used blackworms there was an outbreak of Camallanus in my
tanks. Not all the tanks only a couple at a time and I didn't know how easy
it was to treat so I froze all the fish and bleached the tanks. Hopefully
you have a good clean source, never seen a fish turn them down.
