As someone else pointed out, an abreviated version of the Beginners Guide is already on-line. It differs from the printed version, but perhaps not enough for some. For exampl, I received permission from the late Ed Warner to publish the first three chapters of his book on our club web site. The chapters are complete, but the rest of the book is not on the web. I selected the first three chapters because they were complete enough to get someone interested started, but still leave a lot of wiggle room for learning the real tricks of the trade.
I also provide contact information for the reader to contact Ed (I shuld change it to Ruth) to purchase the full book. I never did follow up to see if any sales were generated solely because of the web site. I'd be interested to know.
