Fundulus cingulatus
On the webpage http://www.aka.org/AKA/Clubs/ClubPages/SKS/publication.html
I see reference to the following article.
Fundulus Cingulatus is No More - by Harry Specht, Vol II, Issue 6
Now I'm really cheezed! My students and I've spent this year trying to
breed native killies I collected last summer. So far we have killed the
only trio of Fundulus lineolatus, killed both pair of F. chrysotus, and the
black spotted F. chrysotus, killed the Lucania goodei. and have had not one
egg or fry from the Leptolucania ommata.
Our Fundulus Cingulatus is our only native killie success. We now have
several dozen of them and we have our first F1's set up to spawn. So.....
What's up with this? I'd hate to end up trying to sell a fish that's
classified incorrectly.......again. Been there done that!
