Re: Age and killies

OK, I'm 51 and have been keeping tropical fish since 1956. I grew up in
Chicago, so I became specifically interested in Killies in the 1970's when I
joined the Chicago Killifish club and got to meet George Maier and others. I
stayed in the hobby until the early 80's, when I had a major relocation and
change in life which precluded keeping aquaria. I got back into killies in
the mid-1990's and have kept them ever since.

Killies have, I believe, grown in popularity during the last 15 years and are
destined to be a growing segment of the aquarium hobby. Their small size
eaily shipped eggs, and simple tank requirements makes them ideal for mobile,
apartment renting young professionals who constitute and important
transitional group in bringing the hobby to youngsters.
