What I find odd is that I'm sure that the Louesse River is much too large and fast to be a suitable habitate for killies.  Of course, I'm basing this purely on guess work.  But a water course that's large enough to find it's way on the maps I was looking at has to be fairly large.  Is there any rule-of-thumb when selecting such a place-name?  Or is it totally up to the describer's discression?
