Most of the AKA ship only during the warmer months April through October by 
Priority Mail and do not use a heat pack.
 
<< 1) pH below 7 to prevent ammonia poisoning
<<2) no feeding for 3 days before to clear gut.
 
No feeding for a day before shipping seems to be good enough and use tank 
water which the fish are already in
