I was told some time ago by a breeder that he spawned his Lamprichthys 
tanganicanus by making a long (12") mop and then tightly tying it at both 
entd.  He anchored one end near the bottom of the tank and one near the top.  
The fish readily spawned in that device.  I'm interested in any other ways, 
because I'm raising a bunch of these fish and hope to spawn them some day.
