We live in a second floor apartment where the downstairs neighbors use
their fireplace most of the winter, keeping most of our apartment toasty
warm and bad for white worms. I noticed the culture wasn't doing so well,
so in the bedroom they went, particularly since we leave the window open at
night and I've closed the heating vents so it doesn't warm up too fast (my
wife doesn't know this part I think ;-) ) The culture rebounded quickly
but is now on the dresser. Not much of an improvement, I suppose.... She
was also interested when I started buying baby food since we have no
babies. At first, she thought I was trying to tell her something, but she
knows now that strange things that end up in our shopping cart are destined
for microworms or something..
