RE: new AKA roster

That information is reported to each BOT member on a monthly basis. They
get a report showing all membership activity both numerically and
graphically. Your question might instead be; Why isn't the general
membership receiving that information since it is being provided by the
membership committee?

When I first joined the AKA 30 years ago (good grief), it was not uncommon
for the membership chmn. to watch how many members we lost and how many were
new. Seldom see that anymore. I'm with Bill, I would like to see a yearly
update and especially an e-list. Kent Carpenter

Current PC database and printer technology have reduced costs from the early
days when typesetting was the norm. However, I suspect that typesetting
savings are still small when compared to postage expesses. My guess is that
it costs more to mail the roster than it does to produce it!

you heard was me ducking al of the misc. objecyts thrown my way after that
comment.) I personally like having all of my favorite contacts available to
me at my finger tips. Sigh....
