I seem to remember a recent thread about brine shrimp hatching crashes.  As
I was making a hatching solution this morning, I added 2 drops of chlorine
bleach to the tap water (1 gallon) to help prevent bacterial problems.  I
used to add Amquel to my hatching water believing that the water should be
declorinated however, I was wrong.  The bleach and untreated tap water may
go a good distance to preventing bacterial problems and in my experience,
does not affect the hatch in any way.  If this technique has already been
mentioned, please forgive the redundancy.
