Jink02  Most killifish are very "labor intensive" to produce. The 
professional fish farmer would have to charge exorbitant prices to make a 
profit. These fish have always been known as "kitchen breeder fish" referring 
to the German breeders who always kept them in kitchens for a source of heat. 
Hobbyists remain the source of almost all killies even today. Join the AKA  
and interface with hundreds and hundreds of hobbyists world wide. It is a 
great hobby.
