A relatively easy Notho. Check the AKA Web Site under the genus
Nothobranchius for general maintenance and breeding information.

One small problem.....
Aplocheilichthys is associated only with Lake Tanganyika and not Lake
Victoria. It is found mainly in small streams feeding into Lake Tanganyika
and also in the shore regions.

I am not aware of any killies that normally inhabit Lake Victoria itself but
in the river systems feeding into the lake we have found: Aplocheilichthys
bukobanus, Aplocheilichthys fuelleborni, Aplocheilichthys centralis and at
least one unidentified species. These normally inhabit small streams and
swamps associated with the Lake Victoria drainage system as a whole and
would probably only occasionally end up in the lake by accident. In
temporary pools in the areas adjacent to the lake, and therefore also not
strictly associated with the lake, there are numerous species of Nothos: N.
ugandensis, N. robustus, N. taeniopygus and various populations of an
unidentified Notho (e.g. N. sp. Mugeta, N. sp. Runere, etc.).
