Re: Heaters
Having tried several ways to heat a fish room, I have finally settled on a
"Blue Flame" gas heater.I had it hooked up to the natural gas line and hung
it on the basement wall a foot above the floor. It has three temperature
settings(low, medium & High). The one I'm using was purchased at Home Depot
for $159.00. It does not require venting and does not require electricity
which makes it perfect for backup heat when the furnace fails, as I have
already had a chance to try! This particular brand is GLO-WARM and will work
with propane as well. In New York state these are required to have low
oxygen cutoffs. Having tried individual electric heaters and even baseboard
electric heat over the years, this is the most efficient I have found and
highly reliable.
