Surely, there is some confusion here ? What is being referred to - Vinegar
Eels or Microworms ?
Vinegar Eel cultures generally do not smell, except perhaps mildly of
vinegar. They very rarely go "bad" and even when they do they need to be
stirred up before any bad smell can be detected.
Microworm cultures, on the other hand, can, and frequently do, smell very
badly.
For those who have never kept either Vinegar eels or microworms, this thread
must be rather confusing.
