From the time of George's editorship in the middle '80s, hasn't JAKA been
produced by word processor? I seem to remember that the person who was hired
to do the final copy was also paid for the time necessary to first type all
of the names from the KMI into her system in order to save them to spell
check.

Those should be easy to save from disk to whatever format is desired - if
the disks are still available.

The quality of JAKA immediately went up from a certain perspective. Maybe
that is something I need to do, download a list of current killie names and
commit them to my spell checker's memory.
