The file that Michael is referring to was a second file that I tried. The 
list server that handles killietalk seems to be differentiating between 
simple html files (this one, test.html was prepared in BBEdit) and other 
files. The first one I tried was a Word doc. It may be differentiating 
between binary and simple text files. I am pretty confident that no 
executable file could get through. I will contact the person who 
administers the list server to look into this.
