Re: NFC: Build a better mousetrap....
Suspect that the mouse was actually a water shrew, which hunt around, in and under the water. Mice don't.
Have had some good size trout (6-8") show up in minnow traps. The trout were big enough that they must have expended considerable effort to force their bodies though the small cone opening (one inch). Of course once they were in, they had lots of nice minnows to munch on.
