Um folks,
"sleeping with the fishes" is a ref to the movie "the
godfather" in which between rival mafia groups one of
the 'soldiers' is assasinated, and a fish wrapped in
brown paper is sent to his bosses to indicate that he
now "sleeps with the fishes".
Puts the original quote in context. Lets now hope that
'vinnie' doesnt come looking for us for not paying
proper respect.
Actually, I have had a few fish that I would rather
have in my bedroom then my first wife. In fact quite a
few. In fact have a LOT of them now there(my killies)
and wouldnt have her for any amount of money.
Re the Indians/Whites, hands down, the Indians win on
having the lowest impact on our environment and
wildlife, to their credit the 'exotics' are finally
beginning to understand their impact and are making
some effort to minimize the damage, but, eventually,
to our shame the US is going to be all concrete, with
a few trees here and there and all of our food shipped
in from Central and South America, this not a prophecy
at all but simply an extrapolation of our present
situation and directions. I expect that the smog will
make quite lifelike tearstains at Mt Rushmore.
