I would like to suggest Mike Hellweg's book on Live Food Culturing for ideas.

Actually Microworms and their culture medium 
contains 4 maturing sizes of wiggling worms. The 
smallest is half the size of a Paramecium in 
length and smaller than Rotifers I have seen.

The culture medium squirms with this wiggling 
mass for a day or more in most tank water and on 
the floor of the fry containers.

Just a thought . . .
