I use 5 grams of the crystals in 50 gallons of St
Louis tap water. In High Ridge it takes 2 grams
most of the year. In the fall I need 3.5. Too
much turns the pH too far down.
Best to use only what is needed and be sure to
test for Chlorine after treating.
