  I would be hesitant to do this with kmar in a saltwater solution.  While you will rupture the egg, there is still likely a high solute concentration (low water potential) within the fry itself.  Thus you could cause a large influx of water into the fish's cells and potentially cause the fish itself to rupture.  I dont know if the solute concentration within a brackish water fish is high enough for this to occur, but I would be hesitant about finding out (unless you have more eggs than you know what to do with!).  Given that kmar is found in variable salt concentrations, this may or may not be an issue, but if the fish spawn in certain places (with certain salt levels), you could be changing the water potential to something the fry is unable to tolerate.  This is all theory and my ponderings, but I would be careful of using that method for a brackish fish.

hatch as well but just change my water to rainwater equivalent making
sure it is loaded with oxygen." I can't think of anything more loaded
with oxygen than a tiny droplet of h2o falling a mile thru the
atmosphere. IMO. Fire away!
