Re: [Killietalk] Why not a poll
I would only agree to a poll if people had to submit their registration
money for the convention upon selecting a poll date, the check to be
returned only if it was not top be held on the date they picked. If you
have a poll only those who pick the date chosen are happy and all others are
unhappy. That is inherent in all polls or votes. Why not have a poll as to
how many WOULD attend on a different date that do not attend because of
conflict now. The US government could create a totally new weekend which
all employers would have to declare as free vacation days and some would
still not be able to make it for some reason or another. With a date I can
count on, I know to plan in advance.
