Another example of the Europeans being light years ahead of us in thinking
about the environmental implications of our individual actions.
Oak leaf mold. Anyone ever try it? It is available in garden centers.

Everybody uses carbon based fuels every day down to the delivery trucks
supplying shops with our foods. It's difficult to be totally environmentally
friendly. It's not a good idea but we all go along with it !! What
alternative is their?
Perhaps we should start looking at Oak leaf mould to replace peat. Go to an
oak wood & go down to the 3 year level. Fantastic media & renewable. Three
years to make this - how long a peat bog?
