There are many species of killifish that tolerate and even thrive at 55
degrees. I have Austrolebias alexandri right now that are laying eggs at 40 degrees
and tolerating even lower. I have Aphyosemion georgiae that laid 2 eggs
yesterday at 60 degrees F. Many others can be found in those two genera as well as
n\many others.
