Re: [Killietalk] Slow growing fry (same, formatted better)

I hate when it does that, so I'm resending it. Delete it if you've already waded thru it once.

As a friend once told me "You have to do the work" ! What does that actually mean,
well "feeling" your "doing the work" isn't the same as "doing it".
I'll translate that further. Taking in consideration all the below is fine, BUT, you HAVE
to do it. "Thinking" the water looked fine, and I'm feeding the fry "good" (by the way
which was once or twice in the evening on bbs), and scaping up some frozen. By the
way I usually "do" Fp., which were STILL taking forever to sex out it seem, maybe
  5 mths (yeah really).
Anyhoo, not really changing much else, and getting tired of hearing "You have to
feed them", I started getting up before work and "shooting" in a bit more BBS than
usual, and then when I got home. I find a MUST, is plants, usually Java Moss and
snail, I prefer the Red Rams. Anyway, in about 2 weeks or less I started adding
Grindals (the food of the Gods), once I added these, which I still fight with, they shot
off the blocks. In less than two weeks later I added white worms, fighting with those
  too.
Anyway, when all was said and done, my 6 mth unsexed fry went to sexing out in 2
  - 3 months. I even had some celiae, definitely slow, and then, I was surprised to see a
  difference in just 2 weeks.
All I or anyone else can tell you is, "You have to do the work". Problem is this too, if
they don't get a good start, you'll never see the potential. Those little suckers eat like
eating Chinese food, 15 minutes later (probably 5 in their case), their eating again.
Thats the reason for the other "stuff", it helps create the banquet they can feast on
during the day, UNLESS "ur" a fortunate AARP member.
So in a nutshell, the most dramatic change for me came with just the diet! So figure
in "more work", and you'll get even probably added results.
