of beer? Or should that be mugs.
Oh well, here is my view and I admit I am probably not your typical
breeder. I often struggle to raise just another pair for my own next generation.
That may be a clear indicator that I spread myself too thin in this hobby. I try
to breed in quantity but the fish, space, personal energy, time and live
foods don't always cooperate. I also tend to dispense my extra fish, when there
are any, by the least risky avenue -- that is, local club auctions and
personally delivered trades. I have sent too many fish to too many places that died and
vice versa. I don't want to place fish at risk if I can help it. Sending
mature fish to a coordinator for holding and reshipping is a sure way to risk
killing those fish in my experience. This is even more so in these days of right
of refusal of the carrier. What is the answer? I don't know!
