Your sky water is to heavy to make the peat sink.

Fluval make a long stranded peat for filter media, but good luck getting it
to sink. I have boiled it 3 times and had it sitting on water for 2 weeks,
and it's still not sinking.

Hello All!
Glad to see everyone had some fun at the big show! Wish I was able to
attend, perhaps next year! Anyway, thought I would try a different substrate
in my diap tanks and would like to get hold of some long stranded
peat/sphagnum(sp?) moss. Anyone have suggestions as to which to use? Should
it be boiled?

Thanks!
