The reasons for fewer fish in the annual killifish shows of late are 
probably many. I still feel the fear of having ones fish rejected at the 
airline check in must be important. I heard of several instances this 
actually happened. That has to dampen ones enthusiasm for taking fish to the 
covnention or buying fish to carry home later.

The Suncoast Killifish Society is pursiing several procedures to avoid that 
sort of problem. We will have our technique worked out and publicized before 
the convention next May. See you in Tampa in 2006 and plan to bring fish to 
the show -- and take many home as well after the auction. .
