Well said Dave.

I recall this is a HOBBY, if we are in it for the money then that's the wrong 
reason. This is not only an issue for international clubs like the AKA but 
locals as well. Perhaps what some us must do is really look at WHY we keep 
fish and stay in the organized part of the hobby. 

Perhaps if we had to bear the real cost of membership without the various 
fundraising ventures we would have a different tune to play. What if this was 
a commerical organization, could we afford to have the calibre of people 
involved in it that we do?
