[Killietalk] peat tea
Mark,
Dan Katz has been very successful using peat tea to hatch annuals. He
water incubates them in plain water and then places them in a small
container with peat tea with the lid loose and submerges it in a 55 gallon
tank when they are ready to hatch.
I find the hatching window is very narrow in water incubation and constant
monitoring is necessary to determine when to hatch them. Dan says a week
after you can discern a yellow ring around the eye.
