Re: [Killietalk] North East Weekend Announcement

Bero Worms = Dero Worms - my typo in the announcement. Dero worms are similar to tubifex worms only much smaller and appear to be a very good fry food ... Beyond that - Ron Schulz can tell you alot more than I can ... in particular at North East Weekend *grins at shameless promotion**

TWO SPEAKERS ADDED TO NORTH EAST WEEKEND

Two ... Yes ... Two more special events have been added to the North East
Weekend plans.

Ron Schulz has agreed to do his presentation on culturing Live Foods at
Saturday Morning's Interactive Workshops. If you have never seen Ron's ways
of culturing live foods, then you are in for a surprise. He does not do it
in the traditional ways and he has tremendous successs. In addidtion - Ron
has uncovered the way to culture Bero Worms - the miniature version of red
worms that will have your fry growing faster and fuller than ever before.
Don't miss his presentation.

Tony Terciera has agreed to fill our remaining afternoon speaker slot and
he will be presenting his program on "40 Years of Killies". Tony is a
long-time hobbyist who has been the chairman of the Photography Committee,
the Editor of J.A.K.A. and held numerous other posts in the American
Killifish Assc. His CD on Killies will be available at the weekend.

MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR HOTEL RESERVATIONS IN ! ! !

UNYKA has been notified that rooms are filling up very rapidly and only a
couple remain. If you are planning on staying at the Comfort Inn, then you
need to contact the reservations desk as soon as possible. Arrangements
have been made by the Hotel to overboook folks at a nearby Super 8 at the
same price if they sell out all the rooms for N.E.W. Call the Comfort Inn
at (518) 783-1900 and specifically ask for a room for the North East Weekend
Killifish Convention and if you have difficulties request Nafeesa for
specific assistance.

BANQUET & BREAKFAST: We have one more week to accept reservations for the
Banquet & Breakfast. The Main Dishes available for the Banquet will be
Beef Burgundy and Chicken Marsala. Breakfast is a full meal eggs and all
the sides dishes. The count must be made to the hotel by Oct. 5.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at this fun weekend.
