Well, not for me anyway. I had 3 circular openings in the middle of a top on
one of my Riv tanks. I forgot to cover it after feeding, and the next
morning 2 males were baking under sun light.
As for A. lineatus, I never tried flowing water. With my experiences they
like big areas with mops and plants. I never bothered to pick eggs, just fed
them every other day and the fry would have enough places to hide. Found
about 20 fry in the tank a month later.
