[Killietalk] Fwd: AKA site menu pics

Below is a forwarded message from David Mikkelsen. I'd be interested to know if this helps any of the other people having this problem with images on the AKA site. I personally have Norton Internet Security 2004 running, but the firewall is set to low. That is because I have a hardware firewall running as well.

I don't see why a firewall would block all images on one particular site. It is true that many of the images on the AKA site are controlled by scripts, so that if the firewall were blocking execution of the scripts, some images might fail to appear. However, some, like those in the Library, as I pointed out yesterday, are simple images on pages.

Anyway, please let me know if this maneuver helps. It will give me somewhere to start.

Howdy y'all,

For those of you experiancing this problem of the menu pics not coming up
on the AKA or any other web site, I figured out why I could not get them
other than the red X in the corner of a pic frame. Turn off your firewall
when you are ready to go to the AKA site, or as you go to other pages with
in the site. Once you are in and have the pages loaded in your browser cache
you should be fine and can turn your firewall back on. I believe it is a
glitch in the Norton firewall and I would bet that all of you with this pic
loading problem have Norton anti virus programs and firewall!!
