[Killietalk] RE: A reminder why we keep killies
This has always been a pet peeve of mine since I started judging many moons
ago. Another one is judges that think just because a fish is more rare than
another, it should be given priority judging (as in BOS). I recall a few
years ago when a Fp. gardneri won BOS at the convention-there were several
judges that were against the fish just because 'it's just a gardneri'.
Hopefully, with the new system, this kind of thing can be minimized.
Although, I still don't like the new system because I feel that every entry
should be pointed-the entrants deserve that much for supporting the show!
