[Killietalk] History of Westcoast Weekend?

Fellow Killikeepers,
     As you already know, The Northwest Killies group will be hosting the
WCW XIII this year in Portland, Or. Brian Perkins, our president has asked
me to put together an article on the origins of Westcoast Weekend of which,
I hope will be the incorporation of how it got to be the event that it is at
present.and I, as yet, have no information regarding same. Therefore, I most
humbly submit a plea of assistance from those of you who may be able to shed
some light on this matter. If by chance anyone could help me in my plight, I
would appreciate that information and will add your name to my contributers
acknowledgement list. Thanks in advance of any help you may wish to share.
