[Killietalk] Hatching Brine shrimp

I am relatively new at this but, have had some success.

I believe the most important factor is the quality of the eggs. I get mine
from Brine Shrimp Direct. The 80 + percent grade.

My approach:

One gallon Glass Bottle.
Ruth Warner's Salt formula:
    3 Tablespoons of Sea Salt.
    1 teaspoon of Epson Salt
    1/2 teaspoon of Sodium Bicarbonate.
Good water to the beginning of the neck.
1/4 to1/2 teaspoon of eggs.
Air agitation without an air stone. (to keep the solution mixed)

I also add a good squirt of Brine Shrimp Direct's Tahitian Algae mix
dissolved in a pint of the salt water then added back to the gallon jar.

I don't have any added heat or light and I get all of the bbs I need and can
keep a batch going for 4 to 5 days. The first bbs show up in 1 to 2 days
depending on the temperature.

I siphon some of the water from the lower third of the jar through a white
net, rinse them in tap water, then feed with a baster. I recycle the salt
water after removing the bbs. I start each new batch with new water, but
don't think this is necessary, it is only convenient for my operation.

I am sure that added heat and light will increase the yield and will add
these features to my "Lab." .
