Blacknose Dace and Fundulus heteroclitus

As some of you remembered with my previous posts, I caught some Blacknose Daces at Camping (thank you to Lee for helping with ID.) Since I really liked them, I caught them to see if I could bring them to the auction at local aquarium society. Well, it is not gonna be happening. I wanted to check the book that Lee suggested, but I had to replace them somewhere, but I decided to keep them in the bucket for a bit. Then I had to feed them, then most of the died. How unlucky I am, but I saw two are alive. Then I just saved them from the bucket, and was trying to figure out where to put them. Then I saw my Fundulus Heteroclitus tank, and one of blacknose dace looks so happy over there. So I decided to put them there. This was my first time seeing fishes that are bigger than guppy babies to be eaten by my fishes! Two were eaten by the devils!

It is kinda strange that I am learning very slow about aquarium. I need a bit more energy to study about it, I guess.. I learned my lesson, I won't catch any fishes in wild if I do not know how to take care of them before head. But I will still continue bidding for wild killies if I can make sure to talk to the owner about it!

I feel so bad to those fishes. I should have left them at Cold River! They would have been happier. Oh well. I guess I learn from mistakes.
