Yes, I've been using it for more than 2 yrs. With it,
water changing still takes me about 2-3 hrs on Fri
nite. Without it, I can imagine it will take me at
least 4-5 hrs. I use it for big and small tanks like
the critter keepers. I have to say that it's pretty
powerful, I've sucked out some killies when I didn't
pay attention. If you pay attention, it works just
fine with smaller tanks. You can prevent the waste
water from tank 1 to go into tank 2 if you flush/drain
out all the waste water from tank 1 before you start
siphoning tank 2. 

I really like Phyton but as Lee pointed out it does
waste lots of water.
