Freezing anything here is not easy -- well, maybe bananas or orchids. I have 
not tried it, but it might work. Let us know if it does. I suspect the 
freeze would have to be down around or below 0F to do the job, though.

Also, the babies are really tiny and easy to overlook. Be sure you wash all 
of them out of the tank. In size, they are between a grain of sand and small 
gravel, so really easy to miss.
