Glad to see you belong to the Nature Conservancy too.  I belong to just about 
every conservation society I can sign up for.  The point is that all our 
precious habitats are disappearing and we should do all we can to fight this. 
  Granted some are better than others and not all Sierra Clubs are equal.  
Here in Alabama we are lucky in that  our club is very active politically, 
and as we all know if we don't get politically active the environment will 
suffer.  Recently we helped defeat the expansion of "CAFO"s in our state.-- a 
real disaster waiting to happen as the people of North Carolina found out 
when the lagoons flooded some of the local streams.    Happy fishing    Joe
