RE: "Extinct" pupfish (longish)-even longer

Which is unfortunately a very low number even for this fish.  Their
population is down more than 1/2 from the early 90's and their appears to be
a trend in dropping water levels that seems to be on a aquifer wide scale.
This aquifer covers the bottom 1/3 of Nevada so it is virtually impossible
to stop the dropping levels.  Their spawning shelf may still have water for
decades but contraries are doubtful...
