 Barry,

  Exchanges are still a good method, as you say they still encourage
collegiality as well as open a whole new source of information and contacts
to get fish/eggs from or trade/sell to.

  Plus if a member takes an exchange membership both the AKA and the BKA get
a member. If a member just joins one or the other it can be one sided.

  Also we all need to do more to promote memberships and the hobby around
the world.
