Hi Scott,

    The book is in german and can be ordered from Tetra Verlag in Germany. It 
is part of the Dwarf Cichlid, Rainbowfish series of 200 page hardback books 
that Tetra Press put out in the early 90's. They only translated the ones 
they felt would be commercial, so the killie and tetra and barb books are not 
in english. I bugged a bigwig at Tetra for 2 years to do a translation of the 
killie book but no luck. Breitfeld's book is called Die Welt der Killifische. 
It is dedicated to the late Walter Foersch and is full of Foersch's wonderful 
photographs. It covers general keeping and breeding and then focuses on 
individual species. The care and breeding chapters are much more detailed 
than in the other Tetra Press books. The pictures of Karl Knacck's dentist 
office Vienna fishroom were worth the price for me. The book is around $35.00 
-- at least it was 5 years ago.
