Re: coconut fiber






I use coconut fiber all of the time, I generally use a 50/50 ration with 
jiffy 7 peat pellets.  I have incubated up to 6 months with no problems.

         I keep it in a tub like peat, only wetting what I need. I only 
rinse it under a net prior to using, never have boiled it.

         I like it because it keeps the peat looser and also since it is 
basically neutral it doesn't cause pH to drop as fast....  .
